A Day at Baylor University

Last weekend, I traveled to Texas for some time with family and friends. Justin didn't get to come this time, so I was traveling solo. Going home never gets old and the time there never seems long enough. My mom picked me up from the airport on Friday afternoon after I spent my day finding out that it's not as easy to travel through airports when pregnant. (Airplane seats are incredibly small when you're larger than normal, and I seriously was almost run over by a man in Detroit on a moving walk-way). Baby K was craving some real Mexican food since he hadn't had any since August, so I figured it was only appropriate to fill his belly (and mine) with some Uncle Julio's fajitas! My brother and dad met us there and it was such a fun night for the four of us to spend together. Baylor Homecoming is such a unique and fun event. I don't know if any other university has anything comparable. I got to see some of my most favorite girlfriends...Here's me and Cara at the Baylor Homecoming parade on Saturday morning.

The Ruby's were at the parade too, but I didn't see them until the end. I was so excited to meet little Lawson! I think he was excited too!

Heather and I at the tailgate before the game. It was such a beautiful fall day and the tailgating has gotten so much better since we were students.

We sat in the fancy seats at the game this year. The best part was that the Bears won the game...and the unlimited supply of ice cream sandwiches!

It was a lot to pack into just 24 hours in Waco, but I had such a great time! Justin and I will be back in Texas in just two weeks for Thanksgiving!
