Skype Shower

A few weeks ago, some of my mom's sweet friends in Waco got together and hosted a baby shower for our little one. The only problem...I live 10 states away and was too big to comfortably travel home to be at the shower. So we had the shower over Skype!

It actually wasn't a problem...we knew all along that the shower would be held over Skype. It was one of the most thoughtful things and it ended up being a lot of fun for everyone....especially Bella. It was her first baby shower. Here we are before the Skyping started. Here's the view from Waco...where everyone else was. This is when I make the joke that the camera adds 10 pounds...
My mom and my aunt Rita in Waco at the shower. Rita is about to be a grandmother too! My cousin and his wife Sarah are having TWIN boys in April! We are super excited for the play-dates to come!

I feel so blessed to know some really amazing friends who want to celebrate the birth of our son with us, even while we are living in New York. (This is me holding the evite invitation that was sent out for the shower.)

I am so thankful for these friends and for the showers that have made me feel so loved. We are so incredibly grateful!
