One of our traditions at Christmas is to make Christmas cookies. Since December has been pretty hectic with a newborn and my gallbladder surgery, it took a little bit of a village for it to happen, but we swung it!
Logan was totally aware that we were making cookies, so he was eager to help. However, we made the dough about two weeks before Christmas and froze it because we literally did not have time to do it all in one sitting. He was pretty disappointed that he did all the mixing and preparing and didn't get to eat any cookies.
I thawed the dough and baked the cookies the day before we left to visit our families and we had a decorating contest in Waco on Christmas eve...
We texted a pic to my aunt Rita to be the impartial and fair judge!
Reese didn't participate, but she had fun!
Oh and we also went to a cookie exchange with my MOPS group earlier in the month (before my surgery). It was amazing!!
