Our fantastic Honeymoon

WE ARE MARRIED!!
Here are just a few of my favorite pics from the honeymoon!!

Arriving to the hotel lobby at 10:30 on Sunday night!

We ordered ROOM SERVICE for breakfast every single day...and it was delicious every single day!! :)

Laying on our beach bed on the beach!

This was our private infinity pool on our porch!
Snorkeling at the El Dorado Royale

We are so excited to be married and back from our honeymoon. We are settling into our house, which some people have told me will never end. That is kind of dissapointing, because I feel like we will feel so accomplished once we're settled. However, if there's always "settling" to be done, then we may have to settle for the small accomplishments.

We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon to the Riviera Maya in Mexico. In case you're wondering, nobody was wearing any swine flu masks, even when we went into Playa del Carmen on Thursday to go shopping. They did take our temperatures at the airport on arrival and departure. And they used these amazing thermometers that I've never seen before. They shine a red light on your skin and take your temperature without even touching you. I'm sure they will be commonplace in 2 or 3 months, but I thought they were genius! We stayed at the El Dorado Royale, which I will post pictures of later...I still haven't put them on my computer. Everything at the resort- from our room, to the meals, to the beach, to the service- was just excellent.

The one glitch in our entire honeymoon occured as we were leaving on Sunday afternoon (we were backing out of the driveway) to go to the airport. The airline told us that our flight had been cancelled and we were rescheduled to fly to Cancun on Monday...no "we're very sorry" or anything! WHAT! We started to freak out, but ended up going on another airline with a layover in Houston...so we ended up arriving at our hotel on Sunday night at around 10:30pm.

Most memorable moments of the honeymoon: couples massages on the beach (we did this twice), seeing a baracuda when we went snorkeling, we learned the merengue, trying to speak Spanish, candlelight beach dinner (complete with saxaphonist), the Tina Turner dessert, room service for breakfast every morning, our very own infinity pool that looked out over the ocean and of course, shopping!!
